Last week was my birthday and I had the most incredible week. Since we moved to Colorado a year and a half ago, one of our favorite things to do is get in the car and head to the mountains. We usually don’t have a destination in mind and enjoy bouncing from one place to the next, stopping to take pictures whenever the view is nice. One of our favorite things to take pictures of is wildlife, but my poor point and shoot had a 3x zoom, which was not conducive to zooming in for the good shots. This year, however, my husband bought me a brand new Nikon with a 42x zoom for my birthday and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Naturally, we headed into the mountains that same day to see what we could find. We started out at Rocky Mountain National Park and then wandered over to Breckenridge for dinner. The views were incredible and there was a lot of wildlife, so below are a few of my favorite photos. Enjoy!
