Get Involved: Books for Soldiers

March 17, 2013 by Allison Hiltz 6 Comments

Books for Soldiers

Books for Soldiers is a small non-profit based in NC that hosts a forum for soldiers to request books. You can send 1 or 100 books, depending on what you wish to contribute. You can browse requests from several categories, including by branch, group or individual requests, forgotten soldiers, wounded, and more. You can also opt to send care packages and postcards to those who don’t receive a lot of mail.

This is an amazing charity that supports our troops and promotes reading, so I have made it my goal to have 1000 books sent through the website.
