In Defense of P

January 16, 2015 by Allison Hiltz 23 Comments

Every reader has words they love stumbling upon when they read. The past few months I’ve been keeping track of words that give me a happy little brain spark and, it turns out, most of them start with the letter P. You may be thinking that P words are gross, pointing to words like like pee, pustules, pimples, phlegm, or potholes, but I can assure you there is another side to the letter. I’m not sure whether I love the letter P because it makes a little puffing sound when you say it or because you can breathe in or out when you say it – but there you have it. Luckily for you, I’ve decided to dash the reputation of the gross P words and share a few of my favorites. Tell me your favorites in the comments!
