‘In the Woods’ is Weak

April 7, 2013 by Allison Hiltz 10 Comments

In the Woods

Note: I borrowed this book from a friend.

Love at First Book and I started a book club, and our first read was In the Woods by Tana French. The first in a series, In the Woods follows a police officer who is investigating a murder case that strikes very close to home. As a child, Office Adam/Rob (he goes by different names) survived something (murder? runaway?) that resulted in the disappearance of his two best friends. This new case, which occurred in the same place as the original disappearance, leads Adam/Rob on a quest to find the link and solve the case.

Instead of sharing a full review with you, here I’m going to share the links to the book club discussions. Here they are:

Week 1: Prologue – Chapter 6
Week 2: Chapter 7 – Chapter 12
Week 3: Chapter 12 – Chapter 19
Week 4: Chapter 20 – The End
