‘Out of Print’ Accessories a Must-Have for Book Lovers

November 19, 2012 by Allison Hiltz 8 Comments

Out of Print Very rarely do I get really, really excited about a company and its products. Usually, the things I love I can’t afford and the things I can afford I don’t love. This means I spend a lot of time hopping around from site to site and checking out the virtual clearance racks. But Out of Print Clothing has hit the mark and I want to buy every single thing in their collection.

Last week, as I picked up a gift at Books-A-Million, I scoped out the iPhone accessories. I didn’t need a new case, but because I spent several years working in the tech world I couldn’t help but gravitate toward them. They were having a great sale on these nifty  cases that have book cover designs on the back. I especially liked the one on sale for $10 with The Great Gatsby on the back (I’m not sure if I liked it for the cover, the sale, or both). Unfortunately, all of the cases were locked up and I didn’t have the patience to track down a sales associate, so I left the store without one. Naturally, I ended up going back today and buying it because it was too clever and too good of a deal to pass up.

When I opened the case, it had this handy little card that told the buyer about the company. I don’t usually read these things, but I was curious about what other cases they may have, so I checked out their website and I’m pretty sure I hit the Holy Grail of all awesome book-related products. They have iPhone cases, t-shirts, e-book jackets, coasters, tote bags, greeting cards, notebooks and some of your favorite children’s books. Their products highlight titles such as The Great Gatsby, Atlas Shrugged, Animal Farm, Pride and Prejudice, Moby Dick and a laundry list of other classics. Never before have I come across such an amazing selection of products aimed solely at the book nerd in me. And the best part? They donate a book for ever purchase! It’s right here in their mission:

Our Mission:

Help us share the gift of reading. Each Out of Print purchase makes possible the donation of one book to a community in need through our partner Books for Africa.

Like I said, this site is amazing. You should absolutely go check them out!
