When it comes to fashion, it is safe to say that I have no idea what I am doing. For years, my mom and sister threatened to write me in to What Not to Wear (what was up with Stacey’s streak?) because I had no problem leaving the house in pajamas (I still have them) and shopping trips regularly ended up with me crying in a dressing room. Now, it’s up to my husband to remind me when I’m too old or too young for a certain style or store because I still haven’t figured it out.

Regardless, I stumbled across this website on another blog, Wouldn’t It Be Loverly, and thought it was pretty neat. My sister used to do something like this for fun and did a great job coming up with real outfits that mimicked characters. Then again, this could be her website and she’s just not telling us, so who knows! Fiction to Fashion creates outfits to go with popular books, including YA, children’s and the classics. The outfits they create include the whole ensemble from clothes to shoes to accessories and are affordable, unlike most fashion magazines.

But instead of telling you about it, I will just show you a few of my favorites:

For me, it would be a tough choice between the hat and the furry vest from the Harry Potter ensemble.

Here is another girl who doen’t care about fashion. When someone says it’s time for shopping, I think a little about it and I say: no thanks, I have enough clothes (pyjamas, sport clothes… hehehe).
It’s great if someone shows you which cloth suits with others, that makes the work easier for me ;) I liked all the styles you have showed!! (so that means that I have no style at all!!)

I recognize fashion, I just can’t do it. I always feel weird in the super trendy outfits!

Fashion, ack! I don’t know what I’m doing either. I let my sister style me when we go out together, lol. I like to be comfortable and I don’t like spending money on myself. So…that leads to a lot of yoga pants and t-shirts ;)

If I’m home and I’m not in pajama pants, then it’s because someone is coming over or I’m about to leave!
