You know what I love more than bookish jewelry? Bookish jewelry that is sent to me for review. Big thank you to TrashyCrafter for letting me select a bracelet from their website to review. I picked out a two-piece bracelet set made out of old roadmap atlases, which I chose because I’ve been researching fun places to travel the past few weeks for a vacation next summer and it fit into my mood.
The bracelets arrived within a few days and were just as great as I had expected. They are made with “beads” that are designed out of rolled up, recycled paper from old and damaged books. I have really tiny wrists, so bracelets are oftentimes problematic for me, but these ones fit just fine. They are loose enough to be jangle a bit, but not so loose that they get in my way.
If you’d like to check out the TrashyCrafter Etsy shop, head over here and browse their many designs. They have a lot of options, so there is certainly something for everyone. Plus, the story behind TrashyCrafter is pretty neat. Kim makes the jewelry out of old and damaged books with her mom, and I love that they do it together.
